This site was created three years ago by me, in 2009, with an original concept of introducing a male slayer into the buffyverse (Still waiting for my payments for using that idea Whedon!) Things obviously didn't work out, hence why I am doing a 'remake' of sorts of that site, because I love the idea behind it. Instead of just introducing him into the television show "Buffy The Vampire Slayer," I wanted to do something new and exciting, and base the concepts of the show on all original characters and locations. The character development was so important in Buffy, something I wish to promote and develop right here at Slayerfest. I am all about doing a new and innovative idea to produce a roleplay which is different from others and stands out.
How does a male slayer come about? Its a tricky situation. On Slayerfest, a world completely different to the world of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer', Ayden Wolfe is the first and only recorded male slayer in existence. He had a twin sister, who was born not long after him. As she was a potential, and inevitably called to become a slayer, Ayden also inherited this trait. However he recieved the physical strengths of becoming a slayer, while his sister recieved the prophetic dreams (as she was the true link to the slayer line). Which means, if Axel dies, it is likely that another slayer wouldn't be called.
But that doesn't entirely answer the question about how a male slayer came into existence, does it? As his sister carried the slayer line, the 'dominant' gene we could see, being born as a twin of her gave Ayden the 'recessive' gene of being a slayer.
