Audrey was stuck in her English class, she found it laughable that she had to sit through this, she spoke English, she felt that earn her the right to skip this class right? Let those who can’t speak English sit in this English class and let her have her day free. To make things worse, this was her last class and all she wanted to do was sprint out that room and hit the mall with Macy, that’s all she wanted to do. But no, she was stuck in this class, every time her teacher made a remark she would roll her eyes and she kept ticking her pencil on her desk. If this wasn’t hell, it was certainly close to it. She needed new clothes, she had plans for the weekend and needed something to look good. Her father gave her money anyways so she might as well go out and shop it off so she could ask for more.
But then it happened, the bell, it was like a gift from god, Audrey just started stuffing her bag, throwing her books in there and she was ready to jolt out the door. Audrey threw her bag over her shoulder as she headed towards the door, ahead from everyone else as she opened the door and she could hear the door hit someone as she quickly stopped and quickly looked down outside to see who she may have hit with the door. “Oh my, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, I was in a hurry” Audrey slowly kneeled down as she picked up whatever fell as she checked the person she bumped into. “I’m really sorry, are you okay?” she said with a slight worry on her face.

school, literally jayden's favorite place to be on most days. she wasn't like other students. while they were complaining about homework and classes she was busy actually taking in the knowledge that the teachers were trying to instill in them all. she loved to learn, had an intense thirst for knowledge and had a rough enough home life that she loved school. she was in advanced biology right now. all of her classes were advance. she loved the sciences and was sitting in her class, completely straight in her seat, listening intently. when the bell rang she sighed and gathered her things. she hated leaving class.
she walked down the halls to head towards her next class, advanced psychology, but her path was interrupted. it was interrupted by a door smashing into her. she stumbled backwards a few steps with an "umph" noise. the books she had been carrying slipped out of her arms and hit the ground loudly. as if getting hit by a door wasn't bad enough, the loud slam of her books on the ground drew even more attention to her. the girl that had slammed the door into her was audrey shephard. audrey was literally the complete opposite of jayden in every single way possible. she hated school, was insanely popular and acted like a ditz most of the time. whether she really was a ditz was debatable.
she listened to audrey apologize to her and she noted slowly. "It's alright" she replied and grabbed her book back from audrey. "Thanks" she added in response to audrey picking up her fallen book. jayden then blushed just a little bit and then said "I wish I could say that was the first time I had been hit with a door, but sadly it happens." she had been hit with doors a grand total of four times during her high school career so far. not a very good track record. it had a lot to do with the fact that people coming out of the doors opened them super fast without paying attention and jayden didn't pay enough attention to where she was walking. usually people didn't even notice her anyway.

Well, now Audrey felt a little bad, but the girl was kind, actually she was really kind. As Audrey handed her the book, she thanked her and Audrey wasn’t sure who this girl was, she heard about her before, like Audrey, she had a name that was both a girl and a boy’s name, she wasn’t sure what the same was, Danny? Sam? Robin? Well, Audrey wasn’t sure what her name was, but she was a pretty girl and really kind too. But Audrey found it a bit funny that this wasn’t a rarity for this girl to have doors slam in her, was she such a wall flower? Audrey didn’t know much about her, guess she was a wall flower, but she had to be a smart one though, because the size of her books, were bigger than Audrey’s.
Audrey slowly got stood straight and smiled at the girl, but it was no surprise to see why they kept slamming doors into her, she wasn’t the most noticeable person, and was clearly a shy one, she was blushing and all. “Oh sweetie, the best way to avoid having doors being slammed into you, is to walk with purpose, with a little added hair flip, you’ll look like you own the place” Audrey said kindly, she wasn’t one to be afraid to give her words of advice. Plus the girl could use it, she wasn’t an ugly girl, she was rather pretty, all she needed was something to draw a little attention to her. “Oh and color your wardrobe a bit, bright colors always draws attention, even when you’re not looking for it” Audrey said with a smile. She knew everything when it came to drawing attention, then again, she was popular enough to do so.
But Audrey felt a bit embarrassed now, here she was having a full blown conversation with this girl, giving her useful pointers and advice to help her not be a door magnet, but she had no idea what this girls name was exactly. She had an idea but wasn’t sure what her name was. “Soo, I’m Audrey, but you probably already know that” Audrey said, trying not to sound completely self centered. “Not sure I caught your name” Audrey asked as she tried to get a glimpse of this girls book to make sure she knew what this girl studied. But it was a bit hard to read, since her arms kind of covered it. But she could see a B and a Y and a skeleton like thing on the cover, maybe she did know what she studied after all. “So sorry, here I am giving advice to a smart stranger that studies…..Boneoligy I’m guessing?” Was Boneoligy even a subject here? She did Fashion, she really didn’t bother to see what other subjects there were really.

jayden was extremely surprised that audrey, the most popular girl in the entire school, was actually having a conversation with her. jayden had always supposed that audrey was a fascist, stuck up girl but maybe she had been wrong all along. she listened as audrey told her that the best way to not get hit with doors was to walk with a purpose and dress in brighter clothing. the brighter clothing was something that jayden would do, but walking with a purpose was not high on her list of to-dos. she wasn't into the whole high school scene and tried to stay out of the way, under the radar and out from under the limelight. she liked being invisible to mostly everyone, it meant her life was relatively peaceful. sure she got picked on sometimes but it wasn't that bad now that she was in high school.
"Umm, thanks, I will have to try that. It has only happened a couple of times before. I just get really entranced with my own thoughts and forget that I am walking in a hallway full of people and opening doors" she replied with a smile. she was hoping that he statement might lighten the mood, more for herself then anyone else. she tended to get embarrassed and sort of awkward when she was in stressful situations. having anyone pay attention to her was a little unnerving at best.
when audrey introduced herself jayden merely nodded to acknowledge that she had heard the girl and then said "Oh, I'm Jayden. I wouldn't expect you to know me." even though jayden had gone to school with most of the people in this school for years upon years she still didn't expect them to notice her nonetheless know her by name. popular people didn't have time or make time for people like her. she had to laugh just a little when audrey asked if she was studying boneoligy. she supposed that was a good guess and quickly stifled her laughter. "Oh no, close though. I am headed to biology" she smiled. she wasn't trying to make fun of audrey, it was just funny to her that someone would think that boneoligy was a class.

She was such a calm girl, not like Audrey, who was often all over the place and just full of energy. Though she was a pretty girl, Audrey could say she would have been a bit jealous if this girl was popular. She had great looks, she just didn’t put her best foot forward when it came to displaying her looks, but she was kind and a lovely girl. Audrey wouldn’t mind hanging out with her on a social level, but she wasn’t going to spend that time reading books. Especially those big books she had carrying around. Audrey loved her magazines, read all the articles but those huge books and Audrey’s had not been the best of friends and didn’t often see each other eye-to-eye.
Well she was right; she was just so often distracted she didn’t notice things around her. Why did Audrey know she was that kind of girl? “I think that’s a couple of doors to many” Audrey said kindly. “You should really consider colors though, you wouldn’t have to notice your surroundings, they’ll notice you….or I’m guessing you don’t want to be noticed?” Audrey asked, maybe that was it, though who wouldn’t want to be noticed? Everyone liked being popular, or well, Audrey liked the attention. Well she was an attention whore really or knew how to get everyone’s attention, but she liked it. She liked talking to everyone, she wasn’t one to believe in social standings, she was what she called a “socialist”, you know, someone who liked being social, if that was even used right.
She finally said her name; it was Jayden, like Audrey thought, a name similar to a boy’s name. She just smiled when she said her name. “Oh, that’s a lovely name, it suits you, if that makes sense, don’t know, I just feel you look like a Jayden” well now Audrey was rambling, and making no sense at all. Especially with her little “bonology” remark, it was such an Audrey thing to do. “Oh, my bad, guess I’m not the best in those subjects. I’m doing fashion myself, nothing near as fancy as Biology I guess” She said with a smile, which was true. She was no Einstein but she just stuck to what she knows. “Maybe that’s why I’m here giving fashion tips, it’s what I like doing” she chuckled a bit.

She walked down the corridor in her heels, the heels clicking against the floor making it noticeable that she was arriving. Some people were turning to her, with both looks of happiness to see her, and others with looks of annoyance. "Is there a reason you're staring at me like that? Don't you have some books to read?" She brushed the nerdy looking person off and continued walking down the corridor, depositing her bag in the locker and retrieving some books that she would need for her next class. What a relief, her next class was with Audrey. It would be good to catch up with her, it had been a few hours since they had spoken over the phone. She was going to call Audrey and ask her which top she should wear with her black jeans, but she decided to go with the white top with the denim jacket. It was classy, and something many of the residents of this high school were unaware of.
However as she continued down the corridor, she paused and gasped in suprise as she saw Audrey talking to that loser Jayden. What the hell?! Jayden was like the lowest of the low. She had like one friend and nobody really spoke to her much, apart from when they needed help on an assignment or were bribing her into doing their assignment. But what was her friend Audrey of all people doing speaking with her? And actually having a conversation, too! She scoffed, walking up to the two. She smiled happily as she saw Audrey. "Audrey! Oh my god, I'm glad I ran into you before class, I have to tell you about last night, Chad Vickers sent me a text. Yes, Chad Vickers! I couldn't believe it, and I just couldn't wait to tell you!" She turned, looking towards Jayden with a cringed face. She then glanced back at Audrey. "Is she still here? Didn't you stop talking to her like five seconds ago? Urgh. Anyway, I've been so estactic about this that I forgot to do the homework we were assigned. Can I copy yours? Pretty please?" She smiled cheerily. She was just really happy. And at the same time, still wondering what this chick was doing here.
She leant in, whispering in Audrey's ear. "Why are you still talking to that girl? You know thats Jayden right, Jayden...The girl who like lives in the library or something. If anyone else but me caught you even smiling at this girl, you know this would get around, and trust me, that would be so bad for all of us..." She sighed, feigning a fake smile towards Jayden. "So, umm, we have a lot of catching up to do, so maybe you can go away and read some more books or something..." That would be nice, the two did have a lot of catching up to do, and she wasn't going to let Jayden interrupt that time. Otherwise they would just get caught talking during class like what usually happened. [/size]

audrey was being so nice to her. it was like a breath of fresh air when someone was actually nice to her that wasn't her one and only friend. she didn't even know audrey and she was still talking to her and even giving her advice. whether jayden would follow that advice or not was still up for debate, but it was the thought that counted. when she mentioned that she thought that maybe jayden didn't want to be noticed jayden merely shrugged a little and said "Sometimes flying under the radar is easier I guess." she didn't really know why she hated being the center of attention but she always had. it was so much easier to just meander through life and try and stay out of the way of trouble. she knew that with some work she could probably stand out but was standing out really what she wanted? at least this way she didn't have to live up to any weird expectations, except being smart and helping people out with their work which usually meant doing it for them. but she liked helping people, she was good at it and it made her feel like she was doing something good.
she smiled when audrey said that she liked her name and that it suited her. "Thanks, some people say it is a boy's name but I don't really care. Audrey is a pretty name as well. I know what you mean by someone looking like their name. I see you as being an Audrey for sure" she replied, still holding her smile. she was actually enjoying talking to audrey which was a brand new sensation for her. when audrey mentioned that her area of interest was fashion, jayden nodded. "Hey, at least you know what you want to do. Not everyone should be a scientist or a doctor. We need people to be interested in all of the fields, no matter what they are" she smiled encouragingly. she didn't think that anyone was stupid as long as they were following their dreams.
just when jayden thought that things were actually going really well, it all came crashing to an end. macy, the queen bee, decided to walk over. she was jayden's example of stupid. whether she was really stupid or just pretended to be stupid didn't really matter. she acted like a complete ditz and tended to treat everyone like garbage. she had been mean to jayden ever since grade school. she flashed macy a glare when she came up and butted into their conversation like jayden wasn't even there and then proceeded to talk about jayden right in front of her.
she was used to being treated like this though, this treatment she expected. audrey being nice to her had been the surprise of the day. she rolled her eyes as macy asked audrey is she could copy her notes for class and then listened as she babbled on about hot guy so and so. typical macy. when macy flashed a fake smile at her jayden did the same back to her and then crossed her arms when macy asked if she had some books to go and read or something. "Yeah sure, I catch the hint. It was nice talking to you Audrey" she replied with a smile at audrey. she didn't say anything to macy, rather gave her a glare as she turned on her heel and continued on her way down the hall. she hated macy penfolds, always had and probably always would.

Audrey just nodded a bit when Jayden mentioned she liked flying under the radar, why would she? She was pretty, she seemed nice, she could completely rule this school if she wanted too, but Audrey wasn’t going to let that happen of course, since Audrey already did that on her own. Jayden was really too nice, she was completely nice, agreeing with Audrey, telling her that her name suited her and that she Audrey doing what she liked doing was important, which is true, Audrey loved doing her fashion designs, loved playing with her looks, and while talking to Jayden she noticed she liked playing with others people’s looks as well. So Maybe Jayden was right about it, we all didn’t have to be doctors or scientists, gosh, if Jayden wasn’t so content on being such a wall flower, Audrey could actually picture her and Jayden being friends but, she wanted to be this little wall flower. But while she talked about friends, here she came wandering, as loud as usual, Macy, made her presence known, completely ignoring Jayden right there.
On one side, Audrey was kind of happy to hear Chad Vickers finally made a move, Macy has been crushing over that one for like forever, but on the other, Macy was kind of just excluding Jayden from the conversation, not that Jayden cared much of what Macy was saying. As Macy talked, Audrey kind of made a suggestive sign to Macy, letting her know Jayden was there too, but that was probably a bad thing to do. “Oh sure, You can copy my homework, though you should really think about making it once you know” Audrey joked a bit, as Macy turned her attention to Jayden, for some reason, Audrey knew this was not going to end well. When Macy was letting Jayden have it with her usual ways Audrey, wasn’t sure what to do, she didn’t have a reason to be mean towards Jayden or anything, but Macy, it was just kind of a habit for her. “Macy, stop” Audrey said quietly with an awkward smile on her face, feeling awkward because she was Nice to Jayden and then came Macy, though it didn’t seem Macy noticed because she was just going at it like there was no tomorrow.
Macy then kind of chased away Jayden because they did have a lot to catch up, the whole Chad Vickers thing and all. Jayden then just addressed Audrey and smiled before turning around to walk away, completely ignoring Macy, which is not surprising after how Macy was acting. As Jayden was walking away, Audrey quickly addressed Jayden before she got to far. “Was Nice talking to you Jayden….hope my advice was helpful” she yelled across the hall, as she turned around and wrapped her arms around Macy’s and giggled a bit. “Macy, that was just mean of you” Audrey said as they were about to head off to gossip. Though, Audrey feeling a bit bad the way Jayden got chased off.

She still couldn't grasp the concept in her head of Audrey actually being nice to this girl and even bothering to talk to her. What the hell was wrong with her today? Yeah, she knew Jayden played the whole sympathy 'poor little girl no one wants to talk to' card well, but that didn't mean anything had to talk to her! That was just who she was, and this was who they were. There was no mingling or social chats, unless you are using them to make yourselves look and feel better, which they did quite often at these other people's expense. Maybe Audrey was becoming ill or something. Should she take her to the butch nurse who prefers to rabble on about her own failed endeavors, or go look for eye candy?
She flashed a sweet and innocent smile as Audrey replied about the homework. "Of course, you know me...Never late on the homework." Her sarchasm would've been obvious to Audrey but probably not to Jayden who could be the smartest girl that she wanted to be when it came to books and crap, but the dumbest when it came to the 'hint hint' scenarios. And no, she wouldn't be doing her own homework, it was too hard and difficult! Why did they always make homework more difficult than what you actually learned in class, it made no sense? She would have to get some nerd to do the homework for her maybe. Hey! Then she turned to Audrey, flashing a fake wave and smile to Jayden as she walked off. She now understood what Audrey was doing. Brushing off Audrey's comment, she spoke. "Yeah, yeah, whatever, I know what you're up to now. Your getting her to do your homework, aren't you? Still, was it really worth the social chat with the nerds are us club in order to get it done?" Although it made sense what Audrey was doing, she believed she would fall asleep listening to one of them rattle on about nonsense.
"But anyway, what is wrong with you today Audrey? Socialising with the outcasts? That isn't like you. Your not coming down with a fever or something are you? I hear speaking with people like that can make it worse. You should keep away from them for now, because we have footballers to go and watch play! Yay!" She begun clapping excitedly. She enjoyed watching the footballers and she hoped Audrey would share her enthusiasm.

As Usual, Macy didn’t have her homework done, nothing new, nothing surprising really. But for some reason she always managed to get herself through anything every time. Macy may not always be the brightest tool in the shed, if that made sense, like why are tools bright to begin with? Anyways, either way Macy was full of street smart, that’s what Audrey always thought about her. But Macy assumed Audrey was talking to Jayden for that same reason. She wasn’t, for once she was being genuinely nice to someone, because she accidentally hit her with a door. Macy was always one to think otherwise. “ No Mace, that’s not it, I can actually get my homework done, I just accidentally hit her with the door, it was the right thing to do to be kind to her†Audrey told Macy.
But Macy probably didn’t hear that she had one thing in mind, footballers, guys, shopping and well, guys, which Audrey had to admit, she loved to, who doesn’t like watching them train and get all sweaty. But she already kind of told someone she was going there anyways, but maybe she could use this to get Macy to do some stuff with her afterwards. “ Of course I want to go watch the footballers play. That new guy, Adam or whatever his name is texted me to go watch him play, I just don’t know how he got my number, not that I mind†Audrey said as she laughed, she didn’t mind the attention really. So she was ready to go watch them play, but before they go, she had to make plans for after.
So Audrey wrapped her arms around Macy’s as she looked at Macy with that innocent look on her face, that same look she uses to get whatever she wanted from her loving daddy. “ But Mace, afterwards we have to go to the mall, my wardrobe has been begging for that new clothes smell in my closet, I noticed it’s slowly fading so time for new clothes!†She said happily, hoping Macy would want to go shopping with her after sitting there for hours watching those guys get sweaty and play hard.
