Halloween Will Never Be The same Again...[Open]

It was that time of the year, already huh? He had basically lost track of everything these past few months and had just now realized how fast they had really flew by. He had felt so embarrassed and un American when he was informed by a fourty or so year old teacher at school that there was a Halloween party going down at the teen nightclub 'Till Midnight Comes.' He didn't know what was more embarrassing, the fact that he of all people didn't know about such an event going down, or the fact that he was informed of this by someone three times his age. He had his excuses, and he was sticking to them; he was new to town, didn't even know what the hell that nightclub was until today and didn't exactly have any friends to inform him of these things. It was sad, he was always the one getting excited about these things and on top of it all. It was amazing how much they had changed.

He would've gotten dressed up as he was unsure of the dress code at this place, but it was a fancy dress type event instead which was slightly terrifying yet exciting at the same time. He decided to go as a cop, original he knew, but he was at a loss for ideas for these kinds of things. And it allowed him to stick kick ass if need be, which would hopefully not be the case. It took about half an hour to style his hair like usual. He was often questioned not only by his brother but by his father as well about why he takes so long, but of course they didn't understand. Or maybe he was just a nutcase, either works really. He wore his cross necklace, not because he was religious, but because he was becoming more and more prepared for what was to come, vampires and all. The last time he had encountered vampires, he was stake-less and had to borrow one from some mysterious chick, which was embarrassing enough. A vampire slayer borrowing a stake from someone is basically the same as a chef borrowing a frying pan from a labourer. It just didn't...Make much sense.

Getting out of the house and being 'allowed' to stay out late was easy, not that he needed permission anyway. His father seemed relieved that he was making friends, but he seemed also nervous about where he was going and whether he was going to sink back into these 'old habits' which Ayden knew nothing of, of course! He did things on his own playbook basically, he was the slayer, it wasn't like his father could dictate that kind of thing, right? He would probably try, anyway. Parents.

He parked his car outside the nightclub and stood outside for a moment, surveying the crowds going inside. Wow, it was actually suprisingly popular. Moreso than he originally suspected it to be. He looked around, wondering if Holden was anywhere nearby. After all, he called Holden and arranged to meet here for a night out. It was an ice breaker for their friendship, and he needed a friend so why not go out with them socially and not in the confinements of school? That was how you made friends in a small town, right? Deciding not to stand outside like a weirdo, he moved inside and surveyed the inside. It was dark, making it more difficult, but he decided to grab a coke at the bar while he looked around. Hmm, he hoped he would arrive soon, he didn't want to continue to stand alone all this time.

Ari was still getting use to this school, still getting use to being here without her father. It was rather hard for her, to get up every day to know that her father wasn't there. It terrified her to know she only had her mother left. Which is a rather bad thing, things just didn't seem to be very good for her. She missed her father a lot as well, he would have been forty five if he hadn't died in that car accident. She had nightmares about that night every night since it happened not so long ago.

But right now she just didn't know how to take it any more, she got into a couple fights. And ended up denting up a couple lockers because of her anger, her temper could get rather nasty if no one was there to stop her. And no one was ever there, perhaps she just scared people away she just didn't know. She was in her bedroom looking at a picture of her father and herself, sitting on his knee. She smiled remembering the moment very clearly. Wasn't that hard to know she missed him more then anything.

But she knew her mother told her of a Halloween party and asked her to go, she needed to be around kids her own age. Instead of going to school, being silent and angry. Ari spent all her time at home, studying and her nose in some kind of fantasy book. It was the kind of thing she liked to do, the only thing there was to do here. Or at least she thought that's what was up, but right now it just didn't matter to her. Right now she was so bored it was hard to breath.

So she decided to actually go out and do something and hopefully something good would happen to her, taking a deep breath she moved through her things. She had a cat uniform from five Halloween's ago and knew it would fit, since it was just rather simple. She got into a pair of black leather pants, black thick high heeled boots and a long sleeve shirt. Looking at herself in the mirror she put a black choker around her throat it had a cross on it. She had yet to really know much about what happened here.

Then she drew on some whiskers using black eye liner and then put on some black lip stick, black eye shadow. Even eye liner and mascara, she looked pretty good. And she clipped the tail that hooked around the belt hoop. And it looked like she had a long tail, she then put on some cat ears that looked to be on a head band. Her hair was in a pony tail as she decided to get going. She was rather worried about herself, worried about getting hurt. And not in the sense of being beaten up since that didn't scare her.

But there were just to many uncertain things, so she grabbed her keys and got into the car. She headed for the party and she got there early so she got a good parking spot, she could hear the music from outside. She made sure her black nail polish was still looking good, and finally she got out. Locked her car and was in the party, her eyes looking around as she saw some people looking at her like she was a misfit. And she was to, she didn't belong here but only time would tell.

Holden sat at the dinner table alone pushing his food around with his fork. He really hadn't paid attention to the time and didn't really know how long he was sitting there but it was long enough for Liam to eat his dinner and clean the kitchen. The teen stabbed a piece of broccoli and forked it into his mouth. He pushed his plate away and played with his phone texting a friend every now and then.

Though it wasn't officially Halloween yet, it didn't stop kids from trick or treating for candy and here he was at home. Technically it was in the middle of the week but it didn't make him feel any better about being home on the weekend. He put his phone down and ate some more before feeling full. He got up and placed his leftovers in the fridge, which would most likely be eaten in two hours. He washed his dishes and walked into their living room, seeing his brother finish up with the last batch of trick or treaters.

He looked at the clock, it felt so much later than it was. Maybe because he was bored. His phone began to vibrate as he made his way upstairs to his bedroom. He glanced down to see Ayden calling him, he swiped his finger across the screen and answered the phone. "Hey, what's up? No, I'm not busy at all. That sounds awesome, I'll see you there!" he smiled as he hung up the phone. He headed to Liam's room to find him getting dressed. "Don't tell me, Halloween Party? I just got invited and now I have to find something to wear." he abruptly turned to leave the room and into his to raid his closet.

He was kind of ashamed that his brother knew of the party before he did. But he really didn't have any intentions of doing anything and was kind of shocked to see that Ayden called. He really didn't have time to hangout outside of school lately. The teen made his way through the closet pulling things out here and there. Happy with his makeshift costume Holden tossed the items on the bed before running into his bathroom to brush his teeth and grab a quick shower. He put on some deodorant and sprayed some cologne on before getting dressed.

He shrugged as he walked over to the mirror, it was good for a last minute costume. Satisfied with the way everything was looking he walked back into his closet, grabbed a stake and slid it in the back of his shorts pulling shirt over it. "See ya there! Oh...and your face is costume enough." he said quickly poking his head into his brother's bedroom before leaving the house.

Holden made his way to the club, it was actually pretty decent for a teen club. He expected chips, dip, and soda but that all changed when he walked inside. He looked around a bit for Ayden before giving up and sitting down at bar "John Daly." he smirked jokingly. Though the bartender made his drink and placed it in front of him. Did he look of age? Not wanting to look any more suspicious Holden wiped the puzzled look off of his face and sipped his drink.

<sup>tonight was the halloween party. jayden only knew about it because everyone at school was talking about it. she wasn't going to go but after her little encounter with macy the day before she had decided to go after all. something had come over her and made her want to prove something to the little snot of a popular girl. jayden was at home getting ready now. she had decided on a witch costume, a sexy witch to be specific. this was something she would never dress up as normally but she was actually trying to show the people of her school that she was something, she was somebody. she was having second thoughts though as she looked in the mirror after getting all ready.

her costume consisted of a knee length skirt that was slightly shredded at the bottom and then a purple and black corset top. she wore a purple and black witch hat and purple high heels. her brunette hair was done in ringlets that fell down over her shoulders from under the hat. she carried a purple and black broom with her as well. her face was done up in matching makeup. deep purple eye shadow, black eye liner, black mascara and a shade of purple lipstick as well. she forced herself to walk away from the mirror and out to her car. she was muttering to herself the entire way, convincing herself to keep moving forward.

she climbed into her old, piece of crap toyota car, and headed to the club that was hosting the party. she was still nervous when she climbed out of her car after parking but made herself walk into the club. it was one of those nice nights when the club was allowing anyone in, no matter what age. she found a table that no one else was sitting at and decided to claim it. it didn't matter really, it wasn't like she was expecting to run into friends here. but the fact was that she had come and she should at least try to have a sort of good time while she was here. she glanced around at everyone else, took in all of the costumes around her. she recognized some people from her school, but no one that she would talk to or rather no one that would talk to her.</sup>

ana hadn't really planned on spending her night at a halloween party but she had heard liam mention that he was going to one at a nearby club. she of course wasn't at all familiar with the places around town but she had an idea of where this club was. she decided that she was going to dress up as an 1800's rich girl. she had always loved the big dresses and fancy hair. she had been able to find the perfect dress. she was going to truly look like a southern belle, or so she had been told. being raised in england meant that she didn't exactly know much about the whole southern belle thing but it sounded and looked nice.

the dress was a light shade of green and had a ton of layers. she was in her hotel room getting ready now. she decided to do her hair and makeup first so that she didn't have to worry about ruining the dress. she curled her hair into ringlets and then pinned some of it up. she then put just enough makeup on to give her that southern belle look. not too much but not too little. she proceeded then to pull the dress on, or rather step into it. once she had it all zipped up and ready to go she slipped on a pair of matching heels and then headed out the door. she didn't want to be too late.

she climbed into her rental car, which was a gorgeous cobalt blue, 2012 chevy camero, and headed towards where she thought the club was. once she got near it wasn't hard to find cause of all the commotion, decorations and people. she found a parking spot and stepped out of the car. she found her way inside and smiled at all of the people around her. she eyed their costumes and got a taste of what was to be expected for tonight. some people dressed like whores, others like just purely random things. it was fun.

she spotted holden, looking just like he had the last time she had seen him, however long ago that had been. she decided to walk right up to him and surprise him, like she had liam. of course liam had probably already told holden that she was in town but whatever. she leaned against the bar right next to him and cleared her throat before saying "Little young for that aren't you?" a smile painted on her face. she didn't really care if he drank. she had before she was legal, what did it matter. age was merely a number. she then turned and ordered a fuzzy naval from the bartender. she handed him some money as she grabbed her drink from him and took a sip of it.

Tonight was going to be sweet! She was dressed to the 'T' like always, and was ready to outshine all those over tryhards in their costumes and maybe even flirt with some young men. Yay! Hopefully there was someone who dressed up as Superman, because she loved superman so much and she would love to see if he has super powers in the costume or not. She was really excited now. Maybe she should've dressed as superwoman? But Audrey had insisted that the two of them do something different and have matching costumes! Well not matching-matching, but from the same family. Audrey was Little Bo Peep and she was Bo Peep's luxurious and fabulous Aunty Su, dressed in a sheep skin coat! She loved her costume, however the fur was really itchy! Why did she have to wear a sheep skin type jacket to be Aunty Su? Couldn't she just wear some farmer clothes, or be Aunty Mary?

She walked into the nightclub with one of her friends, walking around and trying to spot Audrey and the others they usually hang out with here. She wasn't having any luck yet, unfortunately. How could she be Aunty Su without her neice Bo Peep?! She soon spotted a girl she had seen around the school; she had nice blonde hair and she seemed cool. Why hadn't they spoken to her earlier? And what was she doing alone? That was a bit...Weird. Approaching her, she smiled excitedly before finally speaking. "Hi! Oh my God, you're a cat! Thats like so cool! You've got the little whiskers and all that, awe! But I hope your not one of those psycho scratching cats, I hate them, they go all 'gnarl!' all the time. Oh, I'm macy, but I'm sure people already told you that. You are that new girl right?" She continued to smile cheerily towards this girl.

Dressing up? Okay, since it is the season to be insane, why not. It wasn't like dressing up was completely based on vampires, ghouls and stereotypical pop-culture, it was about dressing in the sluttiest and smallest thing possible and having fun. Jaime is far from slutty, in fact her slutty meter would be dwelling between 0 and 0.5, but she was going to be on stage singing in front of a bunch of people looking like an emo projectile vomited around the room, so she might as well have a little fun. A costume to accompany her facade, and since this was her first Halloween event, she was going to look good. So she decided to raid her aunt's wardrobe. She had no idea that her aunt was a little fox in her day, having leather stuff and Jaime couldn't help but up the respect level for her aunt when she found a pair of black furry handcuffs. Right on! But she found something, and framed an idea of Jaime Stone to be shown as super slut just for a night. So why not go for it? With a leather outfit and a cheep 2004 Catwoman mask she found in Harbor Town, she was going to let out a different side of her tonight. Would she do anything? Hell no. Seeing the fake blood and fake screams was going to be enough for her for one night.

What turned out as a good idea was kind of - not. Jaime was feeling pretty self-conscious right now, just for the smallest second. The scars on her back could be seen just above the corset line, and she was always cautious about them. "Where did you get that scar", "Looks like a knife wound", "Did she try to kill herself". She hated what people would think, but that 'who gives a shit' mentality snapped back in. One, it would be completely convenient for a Halloween party. And two, who gives a shit what people would say. If they don't like her, or judge or anything like that, then good for them. They aren't worth her time. What she was kind of excited about is how everyone would dress up. A little bit of her was kind of intrigued, especially if Holden was wearing something right. But we would see how it goes.

Now didn't that just kick off the night that little bit more. It was good about Halloween that rock music and stuff that some people wouldn't listen too seems so appealing. Like Killing Heidi, like Jaime would ever listen to that. But Sean recommended it, and it seemed to have worked. Okay, so now that the gloomy music was put over the system Jaime had some time to socialize, and humor the costume choices of the freshmen class of Midnight Harbor High. Walking down the steps, hating how hard it is to walk in heals like this, she walked into the crowd. Okay, time to start browsing. Spotting Jayden, she had to love her costume. Sure, Jaime wasn't the kind of girl you 'ooo' and 'ah' at outfits or fashion and stuff, but walking towards her she smiled as she stood in front of her, looking her up and down. "That's right Todo, all she needs is pea-green soup skin and a house on top of her and we can click our heals three times and get the hell out of here". She smirked and gave a shrug. "I'm kidding, you look good - and festive". She smiled at the teen and closed her arms. Maybe slutty wasn't the best idea.

Audrey found herself in a little pickle; she was late, which was just not like her. Little Bo Peep it was, and she couldn’t have picked a sluttier costume really. Audrey sat on her bed, pulling up her knee high socks, as she falls on her bed, pulling them up. She then ran around the room, fluffy skirt in tow, looking for her pink high heel shoes she got especially for this party, but where was it? Audrey found herself on her hand and knees searching under her bed, trying to find those darn bright pink shoes, stiletto heels to be exact, yes she was whoring it up tonight. Audrey finally manages to get ready as she grabs her little hat and ties the bow below her chin and grabs her staff and she was out the door.

Audrey arrived to the party and it was great, everyone was into the music, everyone was dancing and stuff, in their costumes. Audrey made sure she looked great, looking sexier than usual tonight and she loved the attention she was getting. The skirt, couldn’t be shorter and it was rather poofy as well and just enough cleavage to make the boys mouth water. She walked in she noticed Holden, that cute quiet guy dressed like a plumber, Jayden, looking surprisingly amazing dressed as a witch, she looked hot, just not as hot as Audrey did tonight. She didn’t have the confidence or cleavage Audrey did. She just walked across everyone, giving slight smiles, as she finally found Macy, talking up a storm as usual, which was all Macy did, such a gossip queen she was. “Macy, you look great, so how do I look?” Audrey did a turn, showing off her skimpy little Bo Peep costume, which she loved so much right now. “So think I’m going to be able to herd myself some guys tonight?” she said laughing.

They could go out as themselves, and snag all the people they wanted with little to no effort as the humans thought it was simply a costume. It was always such fun to see the look on their face when you snack on them during such a day. Slowly running a comb though her hair as she smirked. Today was going to be fun, It seemed most of the people here in the town was going to some Halloween party at the club. Seems fitting to have some fun there no? So, She invited a few of her pets to attend - She didn't really care what happened honestly. The slayers were in town, Everyone knew that so they took their own risks. As she put on an old masquerade mask - It was rather creepy looking, as she put on her little dress to go along with it. The one on the right She licked her lips as she looked at herself in the mirror. She chuckled softly. "This is going to be such fun..." With this she was done. Soon enough she had arrived, And just like that she had found her way into the little human party, her eyes drifting from the little humans. They looked so tasty in their little scary or slutty outfits. Boy oh boy - She would love to rip the dresses off some of the girls - Even some of the guys for that matter....Maybe she would before the night was out, Who knew. Although, With the slayers in town she had to be a bit careful, In fact - for all she knew slayers could be here right now. Part of her thought for a few moments about what type of costume a slayer would wear... A vampire? Vampire Slayer? Hellsing? She chuckled at the thought. Most likely it was something unoriginal such as a zombie or something. Slayers were incredibly dull creatures - She would know, She had one as a pet for awhile. She grinned. Oh, Those were the days. She sighed as she took a seat. For now she would just observe the little humans. The small town was boring to the old vampire girl, But - it had it's little fun times with it...The danger of a slayer being around a corner... She chuckled. She lived for such a thrill. There was no need to plot tonight, everything would be just fun...[/style]

After getting a drink and sitting nearby the bar, he realized he wasn't getting anywhere. Where was everyone? Wait, who was everyone? Did everyone mean just Holden? It appeared so. Though maybe he would see Jaime around, she went to the school after all so was bound to pop up at some point, right? And maybe he would see some other people he recognized and make some new friends. Hey, if you can't make new friends at a halloween party, there was something definantly wrong. Though he wasn't going to hold himself to those standards, as he had a feeling that he would regret saying them by the end of the night.

But just at that moment, something garnered his interest. He saw a man, wearing clothes his father would probably have worn when he was a teenager, talking to some chick who seemed pretty into him. After a moments hesitation, he seemingly persuaded the girl into following him, and he looked on as they neared the exit door which was lit up softly, and then quickly followed after them through the crowds of people dancing and enjoying their night. Maybe it was just instincts, but something didn't seem right there. The guy was in a mask, so he couldn't exactly see his face to see whether he was a vampire or not, however wearing those clothes and just the body language he was giving screamed vampire. Hey, maybe his slayer senses weren't always so bad and actually produced results. Only time would tell.

He saw Holden on the way, feigning a smile softly. "Hey Holden, I'll be back in a sec yeah..." He walked off quickly, now beginning to job through the open gaps in the crowds as he opened the door and went outside, slowly closing the door behind him. He hurried around the corner, seeing the man previously flirting with the girl inside becoming aggressive and thrusting her into the wall, taking his mask off and morphing his face. Score one for slayer senses! Now to save the girl using them. He moved foward, grapping the vampire by the shoulders. "Didn't anyone ever teach you that on Halloween you eat candy, not innocent girls?" He threw the vampire back. It hissed, before moving foward, with Ayden quickly blocking a shot and kicking it in the gut. It laughed menacingly. "It doesn't matter what you do, its already started. There are more like me inside there, ready to strike on an unsuspecting victim wanting a halloween scare. You can't save them all, now can you?" It continued laughing, before he sent a stake through its heart, turning to the girl as he turned to dust. "Watch me." He looked on at the girl who was shiveirng in the corner. He put his hand out to her and she gripped it, helping her up. "ou okay?" He asked, curiously. Of course she wasn't, she was nearly killed on halloween all night by a bloodthirsty vampire. She nodded her head. "What was that thing?" He shrugged. Just someone taking Halloween to the extreme. That whole dust thing, purely a magic act. His probably running off somewhere right now."

"The costume or the drink?" he smirked as he swirled the drink around in his cup before taking another sip. He turned to Ana and checked out her costume, it looked pretty awesome, very authentic. Though knowing Ana it probably was real. He played with the straw and swirled it around, so far the night was okay, just okay. The looks he got from some people were just...mixed. Some liked his costume, some gave him "the look". Either way he felt uncomfortable, maybe this party was a bad idea.

He tapped the bar and the bartender placed a shot in front of him. Holden grabbed and quickly swallowed, grimacing as he slammed the shot glass back down on the bar. He turned to Ana, "You're not going to rat me out are you?" he furrowed a brow. He didn't think she would, he hoped he was right. He turned around and almost bumping into Ayden as he got up from the bar stool. "Hey" his smile quickly fading as it appeared. Where the hell was Ayden going, the only reason he showed up was because he was asked to go. He felt like a fish out of water at these kinds of things.

"Excuse me, I need to go for a walk. Be right back." he slapped some money on the counter and left the room for some fresh air. It was well needed at the moment. Mainly thinking it was weird that Ayden did a hi and bye.

He wasn't in costume, he found the whole practice extremely boring and predictable. The younger children either dressed as princesses or Knights and the teenagers all tried to out dress each-other with the least amount of clothes. It was hard to imagine a better sire, then his own. Ever since she had turned him in the early 16th century, Lucretia had always been their for him and him her. While his own child relationship was often filled with arguments and random bouts of anger. Dante's own relationship with his sire had always been filled with joy and understand(and also a lot of blood and sex), thats not to say he didn't enjoy Caleb, but sometimes it seemed he was the one always cleaning up his messes. Dante had no doubt that on this Halloween night, his Caleb was only getting himself into more trouble.

With two slayers in this very small town, it was very likely either the slayer or Caleb would be killed. And though, Dante had no Soul, it didn't stop him from sometimes having some sort of strange fondness for his only childe. Dante finally turned back his full attention to his maker, kissing her hand softly he smiled. "Well, with a beautiful Woman such as yourself here. How can I resist?" Dante turned to face the crowd looking for any sign of his wayward child. "Plus, I'm quite interested to see if the slayers will show up tonight."

Slayers were the bane of any vampires existence, Though he had killed 5 in his lifetime, even gave one to Lucretia for some time. Dante didn't really care about trying to end the world, in fact he would much prefer it, if the world stayed how it was. What the idiot vampires who wanted to bring about the end of the world didn't understand, is that eventually they would run out of food and Dante was never one to go hungry. So he would leave a slayer alone...sometimes, other times they were just too fun to play with and their blood was wonderfully divine(not to mention slightly addicting)

"Perhaps we should take home a Halloween treat." Dante asked, watching the various men and women go forth, unaware of the danger they were in. "I read this fascinating book on Psychological Torture."
