Liam hated Halloween. No fucking sense. None whatsoever. Liam definitely knew how to have fun. He would spend quite a lot of time doing rather crazy things with Ana back in England, and even now, he would do certain spontaneous things when spending time with Holden, but parading around as creatures of the night pretending to be and do some of the horrendous things that they were so commonly known for was only hypocritical of humans not fun at all. Praising vampires, werewolves, demons, and witches for what they were made absolutely no sense to Liam especially when he was one of the people who so often had to burn the body of someone who naively trusted one of these creatures as they mercilessly murdered, tortured, or cursed them. It was times like these where he wondered if training a slayer and putting her and his own family’s life in danger was really worth it with the world being full of idiots such as these. A young teenage girl dressed in black fishnets, a skimpy white skirt exposing almost everything above her knees, and a piece of black cloth covering what looked like just her nipples (obviously a wannabe prostitute) squealed excitedly as a boy dressed in Neanderthal/bigfoot looking costume (a rendition of a werewolf Liam assumed) galloped after her towards Till Midnight Comes small gorilla like grunts escaping his mask. Liam shook his head. Oh yeah, bloody idiots. He really wouldn’t have even come to this bash if he had found his slayer. He had heard from previous watchers that sometimes if a watcher is good enough, they can sense their slayer. Well, apparently Liam just hadn’t come close enough to her yet. Nope, that was a lie. He worked at the school he knew she would be attending. He wasn’t good at this, but he had to keep trying. It was what he was brought up to do. Find the slayer. Train the slayer. Help the slayer kill her way through all forces of darkness. Protect the slayer. Holden was right. She had to be here. He hoped Ana had showed up. He had mentioned it to her in passing, but she didn’t seem interested. Maybe she’d surprise him. She was full of those.
Liam walked into the club, the music dancing along the hairs of his inner ear. It was rather loud, which Liam really didn’t mind. Music was good all-around even if it wasn’t rock music. He scanned the club long enough to spot the exits and the possible weapons which watchers were trained to teach their slayers. The bar of course was the third place to look for for obvious reasons. He’d spend most of his night there until Holden showed up. Holden promised he’d help him find the slayer. After all, they made a nifty deal and everything.
Liam headed in that direction, and he was actually surprised to already find Holden sitting at the bar. All he could see was him talking to some chick facing away from him. It only took a few seconds for him to realize it was Ana. She was hard to miss actually. Her hair was in loose and tight curls, and she wore a pale green bustle dress. He reminded her of the perfect image of a Victorian woman. A smile danced across his lips, but he quickly let his face relax hoping that his brother didn’t see his expression. But as he neared them, Holden was already walking away from Ana and towards him. Liam didn’t bother to catch after him. He seemed like he was in a hurry. He approached Ana a puzzled look on his face. ”Where in the world is he off to in such a hurry? And is that scotch he was drinking?” Liam asked. He would have to talk to him about that a bit later. Not that Liam really cared what Holden drank. Hell, he started drinking at fifteen which was three years under the limit in England, but no one really kept up on that. But father would flip if he knew about it, so he tried to keep an eye on how often Holden drank. Liam couldn’t stop his eyes observing her. He still couldn’t believe the changes that took place over ten years. ”Wow, you actually look like a lady for once, Ana.” he joked. He then looked down at himself. He wore a pair of faded blue jeans and a dark green t-shirt with a brown blazer over it. ”Decided to dress as myself.” He shrugged. “Felt that was appealing enough.” He smiled at her. ”You um….” he nodded, ”….you look wonderful. I feel like this is that Victorian Ball our parents made us go to all over again back in England. I still can’t dance, and you still wear those dresses like a Victorian vision. I’m glad you came.” It took all he had to pull his eyes away from her for just a few seconds. ”So, I need to find this damn slayer before father starts calling you and interrogating you about me. You’re a sucky liar.”

ana laughed at holden before responding with "I would say you are a little old for the costume and a little young for the drink. Bar tenders here are really not the brightest if they are serving you" she added a small wink in there. she was just busting his chops. she really didn't care that he was drinking. she remembered liam drinking when they were younger. if she remembered right he had started sneaking alcohol from his father's stash when he was about fifteen. ana had only been seven at the time and of course hadn't been drinking. she had found the stuff vile and disgusting, based on smell alone. she still didn't have much of a taste for alcohol even though she was legal to drink it now. "But no, I am not going to rat you out" she added with a smile. she then noticed liam approaching and right about that time holden excused himself and made a beeline in the opposite direction.
ana looked at liam and smiled as he approached her and then heard him ask about holden. "I honestly have no idea where he was heading. You know teenagers, probably didn't want his friends to have to wait for him or something" she shrugged. and then she made a fake guilty face and added "That definitely was not scotch, it was apple juice." she had to laugh afterwards, she was horrible at keeping a straight face for things like this. she really couldn't lie at all.
ana rolled her eyes at him when he said that she finally looked like a woman for once. "Well ouch, what am I every other day? Chopped liver" she replied, pretending to be hurt. of course she wasn't though. she knew that liam was just joking around with her. that was how they operated, that was what their friendship was based on. it was easier to joke around with each other and give compliments that way than actually admit to what they were feeling. neither one of them was that emotionally aware and they were both stubborn as mules. she did smile when he said she looked wonderful and that it reminded him of the old victorian balls that their parents had made them attend. "Well thank you, kind sir" she said in her full accent and then curtsied for him. "But really, dressing as yourself? You are definitely still the same liam. You have the creativity of a rock" she replied with a laugh. she wouldn't admit that he was right though, he was plenty appealing just the way he was. she had to look away from because he mind was going somewhere dangerous. when he changed the subject and talked about his slayer and how horrible of a liar she was she looked back at him "Well I will try to help you. Of course I don't have all that fancy watcher training like you do" she joked.

Well, this was going to be difficult.
He found himself back inside the club, looking around, searching almost aimlessly for what seemed like a needle in a haystack. Slayer powers and all, still weren't proving much use in narrowing down his search for the other vampires lurking. Sure, that guy could be bluffing, but regardless it wasn't worth the risk. And look at that, just so easily as this his whole night of so called fun and normality was killed as he was sent on a wild goose chase to suss out any vampires who are about to have their fun with an innocent bystander. He couldn't let innocents die, not at a halloween party of all things! That just wouldn't sit well with the residents of Midnight Harbour, and instead of trick n' treating and dressing up, it would be like a depressing day. He couldn't let that happen. A vampire slayer saving halloween, there must have been a movie about this?
He rushed through the crowds, eyeing everyone almost freakishly. There was one guy with a girl, he turned him about thinking he was a vampire but nope, just one of the popular footballers he recognized from the school. "Hey, watchs your problem dude?!" He apologised and continued through the crowds. This was going nowhere. Until they made his search so much easier. Almost. The lights blacked out instantly, and he looked around curiously, hearing shouts and jeers from the crowd as the music also came to a halt. There was loud chatter and everyone was confused, talking to eachother and wondering what was going on. Then he turned as the lights on the stage came back on, and there was a man on stage, obviously a vampire, and begun biting into the neck of the person playing on stage. No! Everyone begun laughing, obviously thinking it is some kind of halloween prank as he rushed foward through the crowds as fast as he could. He couldn't even get onto the stage, there were too many obvious vampires now guarding as the vampire on stage dropped the lifeless corpse to the ground with a thrill, before getting on the microphone and babbling some stuff he wasn't paying attention to.
He snuck around the backstage area, noticing a vampire holding someone back there. The vampire lunged at him with suprise, blocking it and sending the vampire flying through the stage to shrills from the crowd. He had to do something, get these people out of here. They were probably trying to trap them all in here. Then he found his opportunity, he elbowed the glass containing a fire alarm, and pressed the lever down, with alarms now sounding and water coming from the roof, causing people in the crowd to scream and hurry for the exits. Thew. He then proceeded towards the stage as he noticed people continuing to exit the doors. But the vampires had grabbed a few people and were looking to take them away. He couldn't let that happen, as he ran foward, attacking one of the grunts. He grabbed the rope which hung where the curtains were, wrapping it around the neck of the vampire. He then kicked the vampire, sending him spinning across the room, till he finally hit the floor. He snapped one of the nearby chairs, flashing a small piece of wood towards him ready to strike.

Caleb leaned against the wall of the small corridor hidden behind the massive live band set already in use on the stage. The band playing tonight was somewhat good. It was a bit different than what he was used to from the last town the three had raided, but it really wouldn’t matter in the next few minutes. Caleb peered out into the crowd of excited party goers all dressed in unique costumes to celebrate their own deaths. ”How lovely,” he mumbled to himself, a smirk easing its way across his lips. It wasn’t hard to pinpoint the two party goers he was looking for. He was a vampire, so sensing familiars was just one of those things that came to him especially if it was his sire and his sire’s sire he was sensing. And tonight, both of them looked very fashionable, Lucretia of course as always looked ravishing in her dress, and Dante resembled the infamous James Bond in his black suit. He watched as they danced around each other, two sensual beings lusting for each other. He snorted. ”Get a room already.” Obviously that wasn’t what he wanted them to do, but it was only natural. That was the life of a sired bond. And for someone like Caleb who spend a fairly large amount of time with the two of them spilling blood all across the world, that was just the price to pay. Dealing with that attraction they had for one another. He often found himself wishing that Lucretia had sired him instead of Dante. He too had that bond with Dante because he was his very own sire, but Lucretia was something completely different. He wanted her. Wanted her more than he’d like to admit. It was always easy for him to manipulate and make women believe whatever he wanted them to with his sweet talk. It was not at all that easy with Lucretia. But he didn’t care. It was a challenge, and to Caleb, that was more exciting than the actual manipulation itself.
Suddenly the lights flickered out, the band’s instruments whining down. The happy screaming of excitement became confused banter. He smiled. ”Let’s see what fun we can have now shall we?” Caleb said to himself towards Lucretia who he knew couldn’t hear him. Deep down she had to like the excitement that was Caleb Branshaw, and tonight he had a fun filled night indeed planned. They had originally just decided to go out and explore the town a bit, maybe get a fresh bite to eat, but that wasn’t enough for Caleb. He needed to make scene. Be the center of attention. And of course, it wasn’t hard to get a few resident vampires to help him out a bit. He hoped the slayers weren’t here though because this was just a display of massacre. With the slayers he actually wanted to take his time and enjoy himself.
A screech echoed through the air as the lights above the stage came back on revealing a vampire nuzzling his mouth into the first victim of the night’s neck. Her scent of the blood drizzling down her neck filled his nostrils immediately making him want to be that vampire right now. The body fell from his grasp just as fast as the vampire had first brought her up onto stage. He watched as the vampire he had recruited spoke something into the mic. It sounded like devil’s talk which was fabulous. More craziness to the situation. But the effect it had on the crowd was not what he had expected. He wanted screaming and terror which was not the case. Did he really have to up the stakes? Oh please yes.
But just as he was about to grab another victim and cause his own scene because clearly this idiotic vampire was boring the crowd to death, someone was mucking up all of his epic plans. He was killing the vampires he had recruited to help him with this devious plan in the first place. Wasn’t it supposed to be the other way around? The vampires killing the humans? But this dude was killing all of his vampire lackies. What the hell! He watched as the kid sent a vampire across the room just with one kick. Once the vampire hit the floor, the kid had snapped a chair to create a stake to kill the vampire. Caleb wasn’t all for protecting anyone really except for Dante and Lucretia if he really had to, but with his plan going to shit, he at least wanted to have a little fun before he got yelled at by Dante for being spontaneous and not thinking. Caleb made it to the kid grabbing his arm and pulling it back far enough so that he could look at him. What? Am I not good enough to play with?” His face transformed into his vampire form.

jayden smiled as jaime came up to her and poked fun at her costume. sure she had chosen a witch and she should have expected to get some jesting. she rolled her eyes at jaime but smiled at the girl. "I see you went for...prostitute?" she replied with a wink and a small laugh. "Just kidding, you look good too. I wanted to try something new, actually stand out for a night. Someone suggested to me that I should try standing out more" she replied and glanced down at herself. she was definitely more revealing tonight than she had ever been in her entire life.
she watched as people came and went into the club. watching all the costumes and smiling a little when she saw audrey enter. she liked the girl. audrey was popular but wasn't a royal b-word like macy was. jayden drew her eyes from the popular club and scanned the rest of the crowd. she saw a bunch of other kids from her school as well as some older people, like teachers and such. chaperons maybe? everything seemed to be going well. nothing strange or out of the ordinary which was nice because this town was known for having a lot of occurrences that couldn't really be explained so it seemed.
suddenly the lights flickered completely off and everyone started yammering and screaming and complaining. when the lights flickered back on the band was no longer playing and there was someone on the stage, holding someone else. was this some kind of halloween skit? a prank? the man seemed to bite into the person he was holding and then she saw what looked like very real blood. the person fell to the ground, unmoving and then the attacker started talking through the microphone to the audience. jayden had a horrible gut feeling that this wasn't a prank, this was real, and that person on stage was dead.
she jumped to her feet suddenly and looked around with wide eyes. everyone else looked pretty panicked as well. then suddenly a boy from her school, from her grade, was fighting people. people with weird bumpy faces and pointy teeth...wait a second, vampires?! they weren't real! this had to be a joke. suddenly one turned to ash right there in front of everyone. if this was a joke then it was a really good one. how the hell had that even happened. jayden was pretty much in full freak out mode right now and wanted nothing more than to get the hell out of the club and away from whatever was going on. she saw that most people had the same idea as her, as people tried to scramble for the exits, screaming.
she did the same and headed for the nearest door. she felt someone grab her arm and then felt herself being yanked backwards. she screamed a blood curdling scream as a vampire pulled her into his arms. "Help!" she screamed, but who would really hear her over all of this, who would even notice that she was gone. she was nobody. she felt a sharp pain in her neck and lost the will to struggle, maybe this was her fate.

”Apple juice my ass!” Liam laughed. Of course he knew what his brother was drinking wasn’t at all apple juice. In a club where he thought his brother wouldn’t stop by and lecture him, of course he’d be drinking something not so legal. Liam just continued with a chuckle when Ana made a joke about chopped liver. ”Nah, liver is just gross. I wouldn’t necessarily say you were gross by any means.” He smiled at her. He missed this. He really did. The sarcastic banter that constantly filled their conversations. It was what he was used to back in England when he would spend every hour of pretty much every day with her. He was just happy he had that again at least for now.
”Hey now, that watcher training is what makes me creative. I’m way more fascinating than a rock. I promise you that.” He smirked at her as a thought came to his mind. He could always make this exactly like that Victorian Ball that they had gone to back in England where he danced with her and on top of stepping on her feet, he also stepped on the bottom of her bustle dress ripping it enough to show the actual bustle underneath. ”You know I can’t dance, but humor me? I’m bored, and I’d like to mingle and possibly find this slayer of mine.” He lifted his arm hoping that she would take it. ”Care to help me out, Anabanana? I’m 50 percent sure that I won’t step on your dress this time. 50 perfect is enough right?” He smiled.
Before she could even accept his invitation, the lights above unexpectedly flickered out leaving the whole club in bewilderment and irritation. ”Hmmm, well that can’t be good.” It was pitch black in the room which made Liam a bit uneasy. Ana was near him, so he wasn’t too worried about that, but his thoughts immediately averted to Holden. Where had he gone so quickly? Lights in clubs don’t just flicker off. Something was wrong. He could feel it. And as the lights shining down on the stage flickered back on, he knew that he had been right. There in the center of the stage was a vampire gnawing on the neck of a young woman. The body was drained completely and the body had fallen to the stage. Liam’s eyes scanned the club quickly seeing already that there were more vampires in this club. This had definitely been planned. He dropped his arm and stepped slightly away from her. “Break a chair, luv. Looks like we have some work to do.”

How the night had just changed completely. It went from corny halloween party, which in its own way was fun even though it never got off into its own, into a chaotic night filled with blood, deaths and vampires. And as much as he enjoyed kicking vampire ass, having to do so at the thought that someone had already been killed tonight. An innocent. And there were likely to be more, and it was all in his hands and there was barely anything he was able to do to protect everyone here today. Luckily the fire alarm was getting a lot of people out, but he noticed that there were some vampires trying to barricade the doors. The only relief out of this whole thing was that the people just assumed these people were pranksters with amazing masks. Not actual vampires, which could add fire to the already burning chaos.
He was about to go to school with another of the vampires, when he felt a tough grip on his arm and was yanked towards this man, whose face quickly morphed into that of a vampire. He smirked softly. "Sorry, never been one to hang out with people in horrible masks." He sent a punch right towards the vampire's jaw, hoping it would hit and at least momentarily shut up the cockyness of this vampire and probably startle him about why he was even able to

The moment the lights went out, Dante knew it wasn't just an accident and since he had yet to see his wayward child this evening. Dante knew without a doubt what Caleb was now up too, He sighed gently to himself. Even though vampires had no need to breath he found the action strangely soothing and a true testament to what he was feeling. Now, Dante was just extremely frustrated, they barely got into town and what does Caleb do? Gets the biggest group of vampires he can find to take on a club, Dante was really looking forward to slapping him after he found the bloody idiot.
Dante stood up, offering his hand to his maker as he asked her softly. "Do you want to join in the party, While I go find my wayward childe?" Dante kissed her hand gently, smiling at her, the corner of his eye catching a man currently beating up a few younger vampires. How Interesting, he would watch some more, but then the teenager decided to punch his childe. If there was one thing he hated was his child hurting, well, being hurt by anyone else but him.
Dante sped in front of the slayer, putting his body directly into the next punch the slayer threw. It hit him instead, twisting his neck backwards. Dante's vampiric face now on, he turned back to face the Slayer. "There is only two people who can hit my child, It's My maker and Myself. In other words, he might be an idiot, but he's my idiot." Dante growled, throwing a punch at the slayer, looking forward to it hitting him.
Dante had never been a fan of Slayers, annoying things they were, fun for the first few minutes but then got extremely tedious. He had killed three in his lifetime, all extremely different. The first(The easiest in his opinion) was a typical watcher council bitch. Her moves were predictable, and he expected better. The second, was better but still easily countered(He even gave her to his own maker as a gift.) The Third, Caleb killed with him, a very...special family occasion.
Perhaps this Halloween would be another of those times, the first male slayer killed by his family's hand, it was a beautiful thought. Perhaps, he wouldn't Caleb so badly after all.

Caleb grinned at the boy’s comment. Ah, alas, someone just as humorous as he was. About freakin’ time. He was rather sick of Dante’s humor. It was funny, but after hearing it for 93 years, it became quite unbearable. And of course, he couldn’t just leave the comment dangling there now could he? ”Horrible? Now I wouldn’t go that far. Actually it’s quite appealing if you ask most of the women around here, even when I’m sinking my teeth into their pretty necks.” Just as those last few words escaped his mouth, an unexpected swing from the boy’s fist almost collided with his jaw. It was a good shot for sure. No doubt Caleb wouldn’t have been able to avert the punch or even move fast enough to make it land elsewhere. But worrying about that was irrelevant now as Dante came clear out of nowhere blocking the blow from Caleb and receiving it himself. Caleb had to step back slightly as Dante weaseled his way in between the two of them. Leave it to Dante to make Caleb look like the damsel in distress which he did quite often. Aren’t I fortunate?” he said sarcastically when Dante explained that he and Lucretia were the only two individuals he would allow to touch Caleb. He couldn’t stand how Dante made him feel sometimes. Like he was below him. The inferior one. He may have been around longer than Caleb, but it didn’t mean that he was at all better than Caleb. It meant that he had absolutely no concept of innovative ways to do things including kill people. But that was just Caleb being Caleb. Deep down he appreciated the care and love that Dante gave him, and deep down he did potentially look up to him in a way, but he would never admit that to himself or anyone he came in contact with. It was just too out of character, and Caleb prided himself in being the “ass hole” vampire who caused his sire and his sire’s sire so many issues.

"Caleb..." She softly scratched her nails into the table. That little childe. She looked at Dante as she softly sighed. "Why must he always rush headfirst into situations..." Standing up and watching with much interest as a boy had actually managed to go toe to toe with a vampire, Could it possibly be Vampire hunters? No...Something was off, they hunted in packs - This one was a solo act - A slayer perhaps? She rubbed her chin. A male slayer - interesting, very interesting - She tended to avoid slayers all together herself... Often enough manipulating them to serve her own goals. Looking at Dante as he just ran off and shook her head as she let out another growl standing up slowly. Sure, there was another man here who knew - But, he was surprised - his reaction was slow and sloppy, it reeked of normal human. But this boy was keeping up with a vampire....
She grinned a little as she watched Dante dance with the Slayer boy, and Caleb was stuck on the outskirts again. "So....Tell us, Just who are you little boy....?" She asked from behind her mask. She did not want to reveal herself just yet, well not if she could help it. She chuckled softly, oh how fun - Would it be possible that A male slayer existed? "Neither of you will kill him tonight..." She gave the order to both of her children. "But, by all means have your fun - Just don't kill him" She licked her fangs now gently. "If you do knock him out....I want to have my own fun with him..." She chuckled - He was special, he was one of a kind - He interested Lucretia. A very dangerous gig or an amazing one. Depends on her mood for that day.
She however would slowly sit back down as she pointed to Liam without even looking at him. "If you even approach me or my children - I Will make you watch that little bitch of yours in so much pain before I kill her it won't even be funny" She grinned. "I will make her last at least a week..." Looking at him. She was fibbing of course, but her voice was dead serious - She had no interest in torturing - However if anyone threatened her or her families lives - Another story all together. Liam had no idea where to start. This place was crawling with vampires, and they were doing a very good job of blocking the doors and attacking the people trying to exit. Reckon that would be the best place to start. Liam quickly headed towards one of the main exits where he saw a girl who was being attacked from behind. She was a student from Midnight Harbour High. He had recognized her from the hallways heading towards the principal’s office. Liam would normally throw out a sarcastic comment to any vampire he was about to kill in hopes that it would either distract them or well just because he enjoyed doing so, one of the things Holden seemed to find unnecessary and plain dumb. But this time he had no time as the vampire had already managed to grab the girl and bite down on her neck most likely draining her completely already. Liam gripped the shoulder of the vampire disconnecting him from the girl and throwing him backwards with all of his might. The vampire did a roll and crashed to the floor releasing the girl. He could see the girl wavering. Being drained of enough blood would do that to you. Liam quickly caught her in his arms before she was able to fall over. She seemed pretty out of it, and he hoped she’d be strong enough to at least stumble out of the exit he had cleared the way of. ”You are going to be alright, luv. Just hang in there.” It was a lie. Liam had no idea if he would be the last person she ever saw in her lifetime, but honesty was definitely not the best policy right now, especially if he wanted to urge her to stand up and walk to safety.
Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the vampire standing up. Liam spotted an area off to the side by the exit that was cleared and not too far out of sight. He maneuvered the girl to that area of the wall and eased her down gently on the floor up against it. His eyes instinctively met a broom that was leaning against the wall around the corner from where he had rested the girl. He quickly grabbed it snapping it in two as he stood knowing the vampire was already charging him and the girl. Liam spun, the vampire running right into the broken broom. ”Sorry mate, she’s not yours.” Liam glared at the vampire’s surprised stare. Liam jerked the broom out of the vampire’s chest, and it collapsed to the floor in ashes.
Liam watched as many party goers took this display as an opportunity to slide out of the club through the door he had unblocked. He glanced down at the girl on the floor to make sure that another vampire hadn’t snuck up to take advantage of her again. He had heard a ruckuse towards the stage. He was immediately distracted from the girl as his eyes fell on the stage where a boy that looked rather familiar was attacking a vampire quite well when another vampire came out of nowhere presenting himself to him. The boy had thrown a nice punch at the vampire, but another immediately stepped up in front of him saving the vampire from the strike to the jaw. When that vampire was hit, a female vampire appeared as well. Ayden something! Liam finally recalled. Took him long enough, but it was indeed the student he had worked with the other day. The trouble maker. Here he was getting himself into yet another troublesome situation. As much as Liam had disliked the kid when he had first met him, there was no way he was going to watch him die right in front of him.
”Ana can you stay with her?” Liam asked referring to the girl he had rested against the wall. He really didn’t have enough time. There were so many people in danger, but this girl needed medical attention as soon as possible. Where was Holden! Liam was just about to come towards the stage to help out Ayden, but the female vampire unexpectedly spoke right to Liam. Liam stopped dead in his tracks as the female vampire spoke about what she would possibly do to Ana if he came any closer. It was clear that these three vampires ran together. She mentioned that they were her children. It was also clear that they were not new to the killing and destruction. They seemed to be working well together. Liam tried to search his mind for information on these individuals, but he couldn’t think at this moment. There was a girl on the floor almost dead. Ana was now possibly in danger. The kid on the stage was surrounded by three unexpected villains. Holden was missing. And he had yet to find his damn slayer! He needed to act, and he needed to act fast, but he had no idea what to do. Congratulations Liam, best watcher ever!

jayden felt her vision slowly starting to fade into blackness. she was getting light headed and starting to feel nauseous. whatever this thing was, this vampire, he was draining her dry. she didn't know how much longer she was going to be able to stand this. she felt her knees starting to buckle underneath her and then suddenly the bloodsucker was ripped off her neck. she wobbled for a moment and then collapsed. she was almost surprised when she didn't hit the ground. instead someone caught her. she heard a muffled voice telling her it was be alright, well it was muffled to her, fuzzy.
she felt herself being moved and then she was sat down and leaned against a wall. she didn't know who had saved her or where they had gone, she was merely grateful that she hadn't been drained to death. someone had helped her. she leaned her head back against the wall that she was leaned up against and let her eyes slide closed. her head hurt too bad and it was too hard to focus on the things around her. closing her eyes was comforting, it put her mind at ease. she could feel the warmth of her own blood trickling down her neck. maybe she was still going to die, maybe not. at least the searing pain had gone away.

Holden finished up in the bathroom and began washing his hands as the lights went out. "What the hell?" he said turning the water off and grabbing a nearby paper towel and doing his best to find his way. "Anybody there?" he dried his hands and looked for the light switch. Maybe someone thought it would be funny to flick the lights off while he was using it, Liam had done it to him before.
"Liam? Ayden? Ana?" he called out after hearing the bathroom door open and close, it couldn't be Ana or rather it shouldn't but it wouldn't stop her from coming in the boys bathroom looking for him. Holden backed up as he heard footsteps and quickly reached for his phone. He fumbled with the phone trying to unlock it as he continued to back away from the door before bumping into a body and falling on the floor. Finally unlocking the phone and using his back light to illuminate the dark room to find a set of fangs towering over him.
He scrambled backward away from the vampire and reached for the stake in his pocket and killed the light on his phone as the vampire closed in on him. Holden aimed for the vampire's heart and felt a cloud of dust fall on top of him. He rushed to his feet and brushed himself off as he heard screams from outside of the bathroom. "Great." he muttered as he exited the dark bathroom, stake in hand.

Well, he was certainly Peter Pan tonight, because he was certainly visiting Neverland right now. Here he was, in the women’s bathroom, in a stall, with a girl, finishing, what was a pretty epic night in a stall with a girl, he didn’t know, didn’t want to know and didn’t care to know either. She was bored, he was bored and they ended up in here and clothes off, what else can he say? As he slowly caught his breath as did she, as she was with her back against the stall and him leaning against her. He lowered her head on her shoulder as she did the same, they were certainly winded that was for sure. As he slowly moved back quickly got dressed as she did the same and they unlocked the bathroom stall.
“Looks like Peter Pan Tinkered my bell tonight” she said as she slowly adjusting her top of her Indian costume as Miguel picked up his hat from off of the floor. “It doesn’t have to end here” Miguel said with a smirk as he walked out of the bathroom stall adjusting his pants as they both stood by the sink, adjusting their hair and freshened up a bit, after the night they had. He smirked at her, she looked back, like she was ready for a round two. She walked past him, slowly glided her finger down his back. “Next time sweetie, next time” he just smirked because he was for certain there was going to be a next time, maybe sooner than later.
As the girl walked out of the bathroom, Miguel stood in the women’s bathroom, he looked up into the mirror as he turned on the faucet and then rinsed out his face a little. As he lifted his head, he saw another girl from school, standing in the bathroom, staring at him, giving him that look, the same look the girl who left earlier gave him right before they ended up in the stall. The girl walked into the bathroom stall as she closed the door behind her, dressed as a slutty bunny of course. As she closed the door behind her, Miguel heard a little fumbling and not to long someone’s Bra flew over the bathroom stall, oh yes, he was going to have a round two for sure, not with the same girl, but it didn’t matter now did it? Miguel grabbed the bra as he headed towards the stall and knocked on it. She opened it, as she looked at him and Miguel just had the bra dangling on one finger. “I think…you dropped this” he said with a smirk, leaning against the bathroom door.
Then suddenly, the fire alarm went on and Miguel had no idea what was going on anymore, seemingly neither did the girl. They both looked at each other a bit shocked as he tossed her bra for her and the two headed towards the door. Once they exited the bathroom, everyone out there was in a bit of a frenzy, Miguel decided he’d join in and jolt towards the nearest exit, leaving his potential lady for the night behind.

Fabulous. Just freakin’ fabulous.” She muttered to herself as she stared down at the scene playing out. She had hoped moving away from the big city would rid her of all this craziness. Part of her had actually hoped that the last year of her life had just been a dream that she had finally woken up from after moving to Midnight Harbour. But apparently it wasn’t. It had all been a nightmare that had was not at all a figment of her dreams. No, it was all real. Vampires were real. The man who had come to her telling her of her destiny as a slayer was real. The abilities she seemed to have were real. Her watcher dying right in front of her because she wasn’t experienced enough to save him was real. When was it going to stop? Arianna was beginning to think that it wasn’t. She was going to have to live with this forever. As much as she tried pushing it all away, it wasn’t going anywhere. And watching all of the party goers down below under the catwalk of the stage scramble with panic for the exits as vampires chased them proved to her how real this situation actually was. She was a vampire slayer. One that honestly had no clue what she was doing, had no desire to do any of this but felt guilt for standing by and doing nothing when she could at least distract a vampire away from the boy that seemed to have the balls to stand up to the three crazed villains beneath her.
She squinted down at the boy trying to possibly see who he was. He didn’t look at all familiar to her, but he did look to be about her age. And he was seriously outnumbered. The one that had originally attacked him was now being saved by another who had stepped right in front of him to block the punch that the boy had decided to throw. The woman was masked but seemed to be the leader of the three, that much she could tell. She had pointed somewhere into the crowd and even though the female was projecting her voice, Arianna had no clue what she was saying.
Arianna swallowed hard sighing in the process. The smart thing would be to take out the female, but she had to find the courage to do so. The last time she went in all head strong, she had gotten her watcher killed. What if she had gotten this boy killed to when he clearly was playing a pretty kickass hero right about now….well trying to anyways. She closed her eyes and nodded to herself. ”Just a few crazy fanged creatures who love the taste of your blood. No problem at all.” Being sarcastic with herself got her through quite a lot, this being one of them.
Arianna jumped over the railing of the catwalk landing in a crouch right behind the female. She didn’t waste any time at all. Standing up quickly, she jumped up kicking both of her feet towards the female’s back in hopes that it would knock her forward and at least distract her enough so that the boy could retrieve the upper hand again.
