Slayerfest is extremely story-orientated, therefore the Canons created are there for a reason, to keep the story flowing and therefore will obviously have importance in the plot, regardless of their activity levels. We here at Slayerfest allow the introduction of Original Characters, however I must warn you that I will be extremely strict on what passes onto the site. This once again, is not me being unaccepting of your ideas, but just deciding what will actually work and fit on this site as the story has been developed around these Canon characters. Just to give you an idea of what we will and will not be accepting as Original Characters;
Will Accept; Students (regular people, not with powers) Teachers (may have some kind of background with the supernatural but not over the top) Residents of Midnight Harbour (possibly tie in with a place of employment; see claims) Vampires Demons (these must be realistic to the Buffy-verse; you can however be creative but again, not over the top) Werewolves (see species description as they differ greatly from teen wolf/vampire diaries, etc) A Watcher- You may introduce one as the second watcher and develop however you like.
*Just consider that creating a regular person, with no connection to the supernatural is the easiest type which will be accepted. Remember that the style offered in the Buffyverse wasn't always everyone knowing about the supernatural. Characters can just be as important without it.*
Not Accepting Witches; unfortunately, only the ones offered in the claims will be allowed for the time being, as the focus is on fighting and not involving too much magic just yet. Gifted Humans- Not at this stage anyway. So no humans with superhuman characteristics, psychic abilities, etc. Hunters- the focus for now is on the slayers fighting the vampires, so we won't be accepting those already out there hunting vampires for the moment. Slayers- at this time, only the two canon slayers will be involved.
Please PM me with any questions or concerns.
