He nodded as Holden spoke about the subjects that he was taking. He noticed that they were both doing a few of the same subjects, but he wasn't sure if they would have the same class times or teachers. "Sounds extensive. I'll probably see you in a few of those classes if we end up having the same teachers..I didn't get that far in finding out today." That was probably going to be tomorrow, he thought. The fun part of finding out all your teachers, getting assigned homework...Insert sarchasm here. It wasn't that he didn't like school, he just wasn't motivated anymore. With everything that he had been through, it wasn't exactly easy to just forget about it all and go on doing school like nothing had ever happened.
He chuckled briefly at Holden's question towards him. "I probably couldn't count the amount of times someone has mistaken a simple get together for a date. It happens, no biggie." He shrugged softly, leaning back in his chair again as he looked around before turning back to Holden. "Why not? You seem cool. Hang with me, and you'll be beating up that guy in no time. Joking. I haven't really had anyone I could really call a friend in the last year...Would be nice to be able to have one." He looked at Holden softly, then smirked. "I guess can we consider this 'date' progress," he added with a teasing laugh.
He smirked as Holden spoke on nervously, not really sure what to do in the situation. "Yeah, thats cool. I can drop you off if you want, seeing as how I brought you all the way out here. But I should probably get going after that anyway, still gotta help my dad unpack stuff and all that...The joys of moving houses." He sighed softly with a smile. Fresh starts were cool, but the whole unpacking and organising where everything was going was bugging him.

"Aha! So it is a date, gosh, Ayden, if you wanted to take me out you could've just asked. You didn't have to get me to get you to drag me here." he smiled back teasingly. Today didn't turn out so bad after all, it actually was getting better. Holden patiently waited for an answer to his invitation, trying not to seem so anxious as he waited for an answer. Liam was probably wondering where he was and if Holden told him, he'd probably laugh in his face and say it was a really funny joke. Or if he Ayden were to actually come over to hangout, he'd be all who's this. Either way he figured it would end up with Liam rolling on the floor dying of laughter.
Holden was snapped back to reality when he heard that Ayden was just going to head home. He was kind of bummed about it but they were friends now, they'd see each other again. That and he promised that he'd go patrolling with Liam tonight and it would be best if Ayden weren't around to witness it. "I'm so sorry, I keep forgetting that. You go home and unpack, I forgot I actually promised I'd catch a movie with my brother." he shook then nodded his head. Well, that wasn't a lie or anything. He grabbed a napkin and pulled a pen out of his pocket and jotted down his number before sliding it across the table.
"Never given out my number to a friend or anyone for that matter. Like I said never had a friend before." he said with a shrug, "Is that weird?" he furrowed a brow as he put away his pen. "Never mind, I don't want to know. Let's just go." he said sliding out from the booth and heading towards the exit and out of the parking lot. He and Liam really needed to find the slayer soon, he didn't know how much more patrolling he could do while keeping up with homework. He waited for Ayden to unlock the door before getting in and remaining silent other than directing him to his house. "Thanks, again, for everything" he smiled as they pulled up to his house. "I'll see you around." he nodded as he grabbed his stuff and got out of the car before heading into his home.
Liam wasn't home yet, weird. "Lee?...Liam?" he shouted throughout the house. Nothing. He dropped his belongings as he further entered his house and into the kitchen finding a note on the counter.
Meet me at the graveyard - Liam. So maybe it wasn't a movie but he was going to be with his brother.

He scratched his head nervously, not really knowing how to react to Holden's statement. "Don't get too ahead of yourself there, buddy," he smiled softly as he glanced towards the boy. This 'outing' had been interesting. Holden seemed like a cool kid, and hopefully a strong friendship could be made out of it. That was always the problem with friendships, he had found in the last year. It was more difficult for him, because of who he was and having to basically mask himself and lie to those around him to avoid them getting caught in the crossfire. He hated lying, he was a very straight foward perspon, so it was more difficult as he felt like he was hurting his friends by not telling them, but then he would be hurting his friends if they ever became involved in the mess. It was a difficult scenario.
He nodded softly with a chuckle. "Sounds cool" he mused softly. Sibling bonding, he missed that. He wasn't going to go all uneasy about it all around Holden, but he did hate how he wasn't able to watch movies with his sister anymore, or even wildly enough, go slaying with her, which was like their 'thing.' As Holden gave his number, he smirked as he took it and put it in his pocket. "Woah, buddy, you're just taking this a little too quickly, next your going to invite me over to your house, or something. Joking. Now we can send eachother the standard dirty texts and stuff." He laughed softly, teasing the boy in a playful manner. He drove the boy home, and said farewell as he watched the boy walk into his home, before driving off. What now...His day of school turned into lunch, what was he supposed to do with the rest of his night?
